Win for Scotland


Pat MacArthur was part of Scotland's winning squad
Scotland's club international team saw off their Welsh counterparts 34-7 at Caerphilly this afternoon.

Scotland's tries came from Angus Martyn (Boroughmuir), Richard Snedden (Currie), Andrew Skeen (Watsonians) and two from Marc Teague (Heriot's). Skeen kicked the rest of Scotland's points.

I think that you'll find, before you get too excited with self-congratulation, that the Welsh team were selected from the THIRD layer of Welsh rugby, not the regions nor the premiership, because they are professional, but a genuine amateur team.

Contrast that with the likes of Angus Martyn of Boroughmuir - on £30k a year? Is he even Scottish? Or does that not matter?
