![]() Huw Jones went over for Glasgow's only try Glasgow's worrying slump in form continued this afternoon as Benetton eased to a comfortable bonus-point win over the current URC Champions. Paolo Odogwu and Siua Maile put the hosts ahead within the first ten minutes, both tries converted by fly-half Jacob Umaga. Rhyno Smith added another for Benetton before the break, with Glasgow failing to register a single first-half point. after the break Tomasso Menoncello and Umaga extended Benetton's lead, with the latter adding his third and fourth conversions. Warriors were able to get one try back when George Horne took a quick tap before finding Huw Jones out wide, with the centre crossing. Franco Smith's side are now in third place, four points behind Bulls, and end the regular season against top-of-the-table Leinster next weekend in Ireland, with the chance of a home semi-final in the play-offs looking increasingly unlikely. Glasgow head coach Franco Smith told Premier Sports: "Compliments to Benetton. "They have got a good team here and obviously bounced back after the loss against Stormers. "We have got a lot of work to do. We've got to fix a couple of things and we'll be excited to get out there next week. "Well done to them, they filled the field, put their bodies on the line and showed a lot of character."
