![]() George Horne went over for two tries Glasgow Warriors crossed for seven tries in thie evening's 49-0 win over Dragons at Scotstoun. Kyle Steyn and George Horne both crossed in the first half with further tries after the interval for Gregor Brown, Gregor Hiddleston, Horne and Johnny Matthews - as well as a penalty try from the final play of the game. Warriors went ahead after 10 minutes with Sione Tuipulotu taking the ball to the line and releasing Steyn to score under the posts. The excellent Gregor Brown set up the second try by handing off a defender and making a lovely offload to Horne, who touched down in the corner. It wasn't all Glasgow as Dragons had their moments but weren't able to find the clinical touch to reward some good play. Franco Smith's men Glasgow were much improved in the second period with Brown crashing over for his first try for the club soon after the restart. Hooker Hiddleston then scored at the back of a rolling maul to give Warriors the bonus point after a superb penalty to touch by Adam Hastings. Glasgow were in the mood for more with Steyn bursting through two defenders before putting Horne in under the posts for his 61st Glasgow try. Replacement hooker Matthews went in from close range to cross on his 100th Warriors appearance, and in the game's final play Jamie Dobie was tackled without the ball by Rio Dyer after a lovely kick from Dan Lancaster. A penalty try was the result, rounding off a comfortable victory for Warriors. Glasgow Warriors head coach Franco Smith on Premier Sports: "Slow start. First half wasn't close to what I think is necessary to compete in the competition. Much better second half. "The game lacked a bit of intensity - we couldn't get into a flow and a rhythm. We don't have to have the ball to have that intent, but we came out of the changing room much better [for the second half]. "We were not gaining as much as I would like in the contact area. We got pinged a couple of times at the breakdown and it felt like we were a little bit reactive. "Benetton proved tonight [with victory over Lions] they will be tough to beat. We felt we did enough against them to have more points on the board. That put a lot more pressure on what happened next, but we saw a response and there's stuff to take into the next game."
