Several newspapers have reported that Kiwi Searancke has received a verbal warning over an incident that occured at Glasgow's hotel in the aftermath of the heavy defeat at Sale Sharks.

Glasgow's Marketing Manager, Graham Clarke, entered the team room to have a Glasgow jersey autographed by the squad for one of the staff at the hotel. It is claimed that Searancke told Clarke "I'll punch you in the face if you don’t get out of here".

Clarke complained to Glasgow CEO David Jordan who issued a verbal warning to Searancke. Clarke and Searancke have not spoken since the incident and Clarke is moving on from Warriors although his departure is not related to this incident.

When questioned on the incident Searancke stated: "The matter has been dealt with internally and I have apologised. As far as I'm concerned the matter is over."
