Roland Reid and Glasgow target, Sean Lamont of Rotherham, have been named in the Scotland Sevens squad (sponsored by The Famous Grouse) for the IRB Sevens in Cardiff (31 May/1 June) and Twickenham (6/7 June).

Both players played a big part in the NIG Scottish Thistles team that won the Amsterdam Sevens title a week ago. Roly was in great form and scored 14 tries over the tournament's two days, while Perth-born Lamont gave a typically strong-running display. 22 year-old centre Lamont is one of a number of exciting young players expected to sign for Glasgow Warriors.

Glasgow scrum-half, Kenny Sinclair, wasn't considered for selection due to injury.
