The London-based club yesterday dropped French hooker Raphael Ibanez - which will please Scotland coach Matt Williams as it allows Rob Russell to start against his Scotland rival Gordon Bulloch - England scrum-half Kyran Bracken and Taine Randell, the former New Zealand captain.
"I wouldn't go as far as to say any team were taking us lightly, but I do see it as a message to our players that they feel they don't need these guys to beat us - the challenge is in how they react. We didn't do ourselves justice on Sunday and we have to make amends."
Lineen faces a hectic day as he will drive to Glasgow this afternoon from Alnwick, in Northumberland, after fulfilling his role as an usher at the wedding of grand slam team-mate John Jeffrey. After the game, he will make the lengthy trip back south.
Glasgow's Graeme Beveridge looked ahead to tonight's match saying: "We know how potent we can be when things are going right. If we can grab a couple of early tries, the pressure would be on them - after that, who knows what might happen?"
