Eleven Glasgow players to tour Down Under

Euan Murray will tour Australia with Scotland
Eleven Glasgow players are in the Scotland squad to tour Australia and New Zealand.

The squad includes the uncapped Sean Lamont, Euan Murray and Graeme Morrison as well as Graeme Beveridge, Andy Henderson, Dan Parks, Gordon Bulloch, Jon Petrie, Donnie Macfadyen, Andy Hall and Cammy Mather.

Gordon Bulloch is one of the tour's vice captains.

Glasgow coach Hugh Campbell is expected to make up part of the tour party management.

Ten players in the party will be return home after the midweek fixture against New South Wales and before the two Tests against the Wallabies.

Wednesday 19 May - Advance party (Group A) fly to Brisbane.

Saturday 22 May - Scotland v Barbarians, Murrayfield, kick-off 3pm

Sunday 23 May - Main party (Group B) fly to Brisbane.

Saturday 29 May – Queensland v Scotland, Ballymore, Brisbane (kick-off time tbc)

Wednesday 2 June – New South Wales Country v Scotland, Wollongong (kick-off tbc)

Wednesday 2 June – Group B transfer Brisbane to Wellington

Friday 4 June – Samoa v Scotland, Westpac Stadium, Wellington, NZ, kick-off 7.35pm local time

Saturday 5 June – Group B transfer Wellington to Sydney

Tuesday 8 June – NSW Waratahs v Scotland, Aussie Stadium, Sydney, kick-off 7.30pm local time

Wednesday 9 June – Group A return to Scotland.

Sunday 13 June – Australia v Scotland, Telstra Dome, Melbourne, kick-off 4pm local time

Saturday 19 June – Australia v Scotland, Telstra Stadium, Sydney, kick-off 8pm

Sunday 20 June – Group B return to Scotland

Congratulations to the Glasgow boys for making it into the squad.Nice to see that Mr Williams has finally noticed Sean,Graeme and Euan but what,no Scotty Lawson ?

Obviously there are players we all think should also be there, but that shouldn't take away from the achievement of the lads who are going! Congratulations to them - esp the "new" ones - do they get capped on tour?

Yeah, well done to all then guys, some welcome additions. But why no Rory Kerr? Surely one of the best wingers in the country!
