Andy Craig gets the move he wanted

Andy Craig is expected to sign for Glasgow this week
Andy Craig is expected to travel to Glasgow tomorrow to undergo a medical and sign the new contract.

In today's Scotsman Craig said: "I'm glad it's all getting sorted now. I've not signed yet, but I've agreed the deal and hopefully it will all be sorted this week. Then I can look forward to getting married in a couple of weeks."

Craig is still recovering from a patella tendon injury and will only start gentle running on Thursday. Though he misses the Scotland tour, he is expected to be back to full fitness by the end of June.

Craig had offers from the Zurich Premiership. However, he stated: "Coming to Scotland is the move I wanted. The Celtic League is becoming a quality league, Glasgow have secured their place in the Heineken Cup, and I'll also be under the eyes of the selectors a lot more - getting back involved with Scotland is a big aim for me."
