Their first game of the tournament saw them defeat Ukraine 26-0 with tries from former Glasgow scrum-half, Kenny Sinclair, Calum MacRae, Andrew Turnbull and Rory Couper plus three conversions from Colin.
The boys fought on in the sweltering heat to an impressive 38-7 win over Moldova. The six try scorers were Kelly Brown, Mark Lee, Calum MacRae, Rory Couper, David Gray and Johnny Weston. Colin kicked a further three conversions and Calum Macrae added the final kick for the 38-7 scoreline.
Scotland couldn't keep the winning run going, however, going down 34-14 to Georgia in their final game of the day.
Scotland will now play France in the quarter-final.
