Connacht have named a 23 man squad for Saturday's Celtic League opener against Glasgow at The Sportsground, kicking off at 2.30pm.

There is an injury concern over Niall O'Brien and the squad will be reduced to 22 for Saturday.

Bernard Jackman was unavailable for selection due to international commitments while Mark McHugh and Dan McFarland are both ruled out of Saturday's encounter with long-term injuries.

Forwards: Adrian Clarke, Stephen Knoop, Peter Bracken, John Fogarty, Henry Bourke, Christian Short, Andrew Farley, Michael Carroll, John O'Sullivan, Paul Neville, Matt Lacey, John Muldoon.

Backs: Conor O'Loughlin, Tom Tierney, Eric Elwood, Paul Warwick, James Downey, Darren Yapp, Dave Slemen, Ted Robinson, Conor McPhillips, Matt Mostyn, Niall O’Brien.
