It will be Andy's first appearance in the squad since joining Glasgow earlier in the summer from Orrell. Andy missed the three warm-up matches last month because of a knee injury, but was fit to travel with the squad for the match against Connacht in Galway last Saturday.
Glasgow field an all-international threequarter line of Kenny Logan, Graeme Morrison, Andrew Henderson, and Sean Lamont with another Scotland cap, Dan Parks, at stand-off.
In all, seven international players are among the 10 backs in the squad of 22, with Graeme Beveridge and Andy Craig among the replacements.
Graeme Morrison, a second-half replacement against Connacht, resumes in the starting line-up in the only change in back-division personnel after the 15-31 defeat by Connacht. Two positional switches have been made. Andrew Henderson reverts to inside centre, and Scott Barrow moves to full back. Rory Kerr drops out.
Two changes have been made in the pack. Andrew Wilson, a second-half
replacement in the Galway match, remains as blind-side flanker, and Nathan Ross returns at lock. The displaced pair, Paul Dearlove and Andrew Hall, are on the bench.
"They're mainly rotational changes," Hugh Campbell, Glasgow's head coach, explained today. Ross and Craig are the only changes to last week's 22, with Dan Turner and Kerr dropping out.
Saturday's Celtic League match will kick off at 3.00pm as the second feature in a novel double-header. That game will follow the BT Premier One match between Melrose and Gala (kick-off 1.00pm).
It is the first time a league match between two professional teams will have shared the billing with a Scottish club championship game. The venture will be repeated the following Saturday (18 September), when the Premier One game between Glasgow Hawks and Aberdeen Grammar School FP (kick-off 5.00pm) will be followed by Glasgow's Celtic League match against Edinburgh (7.30).
