Borders team for tonight

The Borders have named their line-up for tonight's Celtic League match with Glasgow at Hughendne (ko 7.30pm).

The Borders have drafted in Peebles scrum-half Drew Moore, who is close to signing an apprentice contract.

Scotland Under-19 cap Scott Newlands starts at flanker after impressing for the Borders development team.

Borders head coach Steve Bates said of Moore: "His passing is very strong and he's a very committed player. I think he'll fit in fantastically well.

"We're expecting a really tough match against Glasgow, but we've developed a confidence from the last four matches."

Borders: Gareth Morton, Nikki Walker, Calum MacRae, Charlie Hore, Iain Berthinussen, Alistair Warnock, Drew Moore, Kelly Brown, Andy Miller, Andy Rennick, Colin Stewart, Mark Blair, Geoff Cross, Steve Scott, Paul Thomson (Captain)

Replacements: Will Kay, Tom McGee, Matt Parr, Scott Newlands, Wayne McEntee, Johnny Weston, Joe Pattison
