March 07, 2005Glasgow target Super 12 playerGlasgow are targeting a player who is currently involved in the prestigious Super 12 tournament in the southern hemisphere.
Today's Scotsman reports that Ian McGeechan, the SRU's director of rugby, met with the professional team coaches as soon as Scotland's clubs gave their backing to the teams at January's special general meeting and promised help secure key players and strengthen squads. Edinburgh last week signed the former All Black prop Dave Hewett. Comments
