Glasgow boys help Scotland to an improved showing

Sean Lamont scored for Scotland, but for how much longer will he be doing that for Glasgow?
Glasgow's Andy Craig and Sean Lamont both scored tries yesterday to help Scotland to a take a bit of credit from a poor Six Nations campaign.

Scotland were beaten 43-22 by England, with two of the tries being scored by Andy Craig and Sean Lamont, who showed why Glasgow and the SRU should be doing all they can to keep this player at Hughenden.

You can read the Sunday Herald's match report here.

Well late missed tackles really skewed the game. However I think we can take a lot more ouyt of that then any of the other matches. In parts our best game of the tournament.
bring on Romania.

C'mon Phall, seven tries conceded? Another game lost after half an hour's play! Radical re-think required. No pats on the back until they are deserved.

The only time they played well was when England took their foot off the pedal. Each time Scotland scored a try England switched on and with little effort scored a try in reply.
Scotland's best player by far was Patterson, when ever Scotland looked dangerous it was Patterson who started the break or involved in the play (except intercept try of course), he should be on the lions plane without question.

So who is going to bring up Ross's performance ? no one ????? ok I will .. lol !!

Phall / envy , were you happy with that performance ?
First England try - 100 % his fault, missed straight forward tackle right in front.
Second England try - 50% his fault , again missed tackle as well as another player both grappling at thin air. MAYBE WE CAN PUT LAMONT BEHIND HIM TO COVER FOR LACK OF DEFENSIVE PLAY...... LMFAO
Scotland under pressure in own 22 and Ross throws forward pass, not long after England score their third try.
Should I go on ??? Kicking out on the full etc...

I might be a bit critical so I leave it up to you guys , can you point out to me one thing he did above average ??

LOL, quite right ...bring back Dan !!
One thing I hate is making a poor England side look good and listening to the commentary! It was bad enough making the Welsh look good ..at least they are good!

Don't think I have commented on the performance but shipping 7 tries is woeful. What did Ross do good? Well he set up the first try because of his running. Almost had a second one with the obvious penalty from Ollie Smith. Was it exceptional and above anything we should demand off a fly half? No of course not. But they were above DP. Who is average at flyhalf.

Envy, You were obviously watching a different game !!
He didnt set any tries up that I could see (other than throw average passes). Did he make a break ??

Yes, so I see. I find it quite touching that someone cares enough to give himself a name in my honour.

PIAK, you can't blame Ross for the defensive lapses. Once again the winger - for the first try it was Rory Lamont - was stationed in the No.10 slot, just as Sean was when Parks played. Wing defence and midfield defence are different. How much experience has either Lamont of what Williams wanted? Not much, and neither is a particularly good tackler anyway.

Thats why we have a winger playing at 12 too
