Euan Murray is back for Glasgow
Euan Murray is welcomed back to the starting Glasgow XV named to face Cardiff, in a game which sees Scott Lawson keep Scotland captain, Gordon Bulloch, on the bench.

Scotland players, Rory Lamont, Sean Lamont, Jon Petrie and Andy Craig all return to the team, with Dan Parks joining GB on the bench. Andy and Rory are both moved from the positions they have occupied for the national squad, with Andy joining Sean on the wing and Rory starting at full-back.

Sean Lineen stresses he is certainly not toeing the Matt Williams line by pickin Calvin Howarth at stand-off in preference to Dan Parks.

"Calvin and Dan are very different players and for this particular fixture - Cardiff are fielding a very strong side - we are going with Calvin," Sean told The Scotsman.

"Dan has taken a few emotional knocks over the past week or so, but I can tell you he's a very strong and enthusiastic character, who is confident in his own ability, and he'll be back, that's for sure.

"He will be on the bench, which is very strong as it also features Gordon Bulloch and fellow caps Andy Henderson and Graeme Beveridge. It's great to have all our internationals back and it's a case of us accommodating them to our advantage."

Andy Craig on the wing? Surely we could have got some other talent to come in there? Manning of Ayr could have played that role just for this week. I think we focus too much on the Hawks and should cast our net wider in order to fill troublesome spots.

Other than that it seems good and we need to give it a huge effor to beat a confident Welsh side (even Cardiff). Hopefully they are complacent.

Andy Craig played at wing against Ulster earlier this season and did well - I don't think he'll let us down.

I don't doubt it Gordon. I think Craig has had a great season. I just worry sometimes that we focus upon the Hawks too much. We could have brought in someone with genuine pace to burn in Manning?

Could be something I don't see going on. Anyway here is to a great match...
