Craig Hamilton could face his old team
Newcastle Falcons have announced that Glasgow will be their opponents for a pre-season friendly on Saturday August 27.

The Kingston Park clash will kick off at 5.30pm, with the Glasgow squad potentially including former Falcons lock Craig Hamilton, who has recently joined the Celtic League side.

Falcons director of rugby, Rob Andrew, said: "Glasgow will provide us with a tough test in what is our final match before the start of the Guinness Premiership campaign.

"Having finished the Celtic League season as the highest-ranked of the three Scottish teams we cannot take them lightly, and this match gives an excellent chance for us to prepare fully for the season ahead."
