Gordon Bulloch impressed for the Lions
Gordon Bulloch could be in line for a call up to the Test squad after a good first half performance for the Lions in their 109-6 demolition of Manawatu in Palmerston North.

The midweek side needed to produce a quality performance to lift the tour after last Saturday's defeat and crucially from Gordon's point of view the line out was a key area. On Saturday the Lions had been poor at the set piece but on Tuesday, Gordon hit his jumpers every time and was taken off 30 seconds before the end of the half as a precaution. If he is cleared of injury he could be in line for a place in the Lions 22 for Saturday's crucial second test at Wellington. Fellow-Scot Chris Cusiter also produced a forceful performance.

There will be a few upset so-called Glasgow fans if GB does feature on Saturday.

I hope you weren't refering to me BB. I have done my bit following Glasgow, paiod my cash and deserve to make my criticism. That sia dI think GB deserves a crack at 2 in a test jersey. In fairness to Byrne, and Bulloch a lot of the failures at the lineout has been down to the jumpers...

Sorry but there are one or two who target individual players for criticism, no matter their level of performance. Fact.
