John Barclay takes over from the injured Andy Wilson
Glasgow Warriors have named their team to face Cardiff Blues at Hughenden on Saturday night (ko 7.30pm).

Warriors Head Coach Hugh Campbell said: "Like us, Cardiff narrowly lost their first two games of the season [13-9 away to Connacht and 22-25 at home to Ulster] but got their first win under their belt in a midweek game last week against Llanelli Scarlets [20-16]. With similar results patterns and a bit of an up and down start to the season for both of us, tomorrow night should be a great contest between two teams that are both desperate for points in the league table at the moment.

"We'll definitely require some more of the same type of performance from last week if we are to get the result we want tomorrow and secure another victory."

John Barclay, who turns 19 tomorrow, makes his first Celtic League start for Glasgow, taking over from Andy Wilson, who has an ankle injury.

Another change in the forwards sees Kevin Tkachuk return for the injured Euan Murray and newcomer Hefin O'Hare takes Graydon Staniforth's place on the bench.

Cardiff Blues coach Dai Young expects a tough encounter: "We have looked at Glasgow and think they will probably be the most impressive team we have come across so far.

"Glasgow are a very well drilled team and there are very few things they don't do well. They have a couple of tall timbers in second rows, while their scrum is solid.

"They are a dangerous team with some big ball carriers. We have gone up there in the last two seasons and suffered defeats in games we felt we should have won."
