Glasgow are already without their first choice back row unit and it was initially thought the young No.8 would be out for a while with ligament damage. But Hugh Campbell said in today's Herald: "The doctor was much more upbeat on the journey home. He will undergo further tests over the next couple of days, but we are optimistic.
"It was a real shame for the lad because he had produced a wonderfully brave performance. There is no doubt he is a player with fantastic potential and it would certainly have been a big set-back to have lost him long-term."
