Graeme Morrison hopes to make up for lost time
Glasgow's Graeme Morrison hopes he can make up for lost time and re-emerge as a Scotland hero against Argentina next weekend.

The Pumas arrive at Murrayfield on Saturday at the start of new Scots coach Frank Hadden's reign - and Graeme is determined to be part of a national team revival.

The Warriors' powerhouse was forced to sit out most of last season with a series of knee problems.

But his two tries against Leinster last weekend proved he's almost back to his best.

Hadden won't reveal his line-up until tomorrow but fans have seen enough to know Morrison should be in the shake-up.

Graeme said in today's Sunday Mail: "My fitness problems were frustrating but I didn't spend the time off twiddling my thumbs.

"I concentrated on my body condition and I'm now feeling a lot leaner, stronger and faster. The aim now is to keep building on that and attempt to re-establish myself in the Scotland set-up. My extra couple of yards of pace have definitely made a difference to my game.

"I'm running from deep and the holes in the opposition defence are appearing. The additional strength then comes into play when I break the tackles.

"That is what has been happening with Glasgow but I'm under no illusions things will be much harder if I'm lucky enough to be pitched in against the Pumas.

"They are an extremely dangerous unit who have competed with the best in the world consistently over the past few years.

"We also know they gave Scotland a sound beating the last time in Edinburgh so we have a huge task on our hands."
