Glasgow picked up some more injury problems this week after Paul Dearlove needed 22 stitches in a head wound and Colin Shaw suffered damaged knee ligaments playing for Glasgow Hawks against Ayr at the weekend.

The Scotsman reports that Mike Roberts, who was sent off while playing for Ayr in the same game, now faces a disciplinary hearing.

The Scotsman also reports that Jon Petrie resumed full training this week and Hugh Campbell, the Glasgow coach, confirmed that they were targeting the Hogmanay match with the Borders at Netherdale as a potential comeback for the back-rower.
