Penalties cost Glasgow dear

Hugh Campbell was disappointed with Glasgow's defeat, but pleased with the performance
Glasgow's last kick defeat to Ulster now means they have lost four games in a row, but the Warriors did show a marked improvement from their nightmare show at Netherdale last week.

Hugh Campbell, the Glasgow coach acknowledged this after the game. "The most pleasing aspect was the level of performance, and the improvement was huge from last week. We are disappointed that we couldn't finish them off when we had the opportunities to do so," said Hugh in The Scotsman.

Glasgow were edged out with last kick of the game by Ulster's David Humphreys, who scored all his side's points, thus eclipsing Gavin Henson's Celtic League points of 503 by moving onto 522.

Hugh added: "The basic commitment of the players was outstanding, our defence was incredibly good, and tonight we were getting close to our best. There is no reason why now we can't finish well up in the league.

"We gave away a few penalties early on, over-enthusiasm caused that, and those points by Humphreys made the difference."

Doesn't sound like Hugh Campbell. Did he meet Billy Graham during his visit to Ulster?
