Tim Barker could be out for the rest of the season
Glasgow Warriors suffered a new injury setback yesterday with the news that lock Tim Barker will probably be out until the end of the season.

The Herald reports that the big forward suffered knee-ligament damage during the Heineken Cup defeat by Leinster on Saturday.

It's terrible luck for Tim who has been in great form and was due to receive a well deserved rest last weekend. However, Glasgow were forced into a late change and the former Ulster lock was named among the Warriors replacements for the Leinster game.

Dreadful news for Tim. Let's hope he is back fully fit for the start of the new season.

I assume the SRU will be providing funds for a replacement until the end of the season? Or maybe not.

Comiserations to Tim. Maybe the most reliable, and amongst best performing, of the players this season.

Get well soon.
