Dan puts it down to belief and team confidence

Dan Parks praised Jason White and Simon Taylor
Glasgow's Dan Parks looked back on Scotland's victory over England and contemplated how things have turned around since last season's Six Nations campaign.

"If you think where we were a year ago, it's just such a good feeling.

"You go into every game thinking you can win, but I would not have believed that we would have beaten France then England. It just goes to show what belief and team confidence can do.

"Some of the hits Simon Taylor and Jason White put in were just fantastic.

"England have some big guys and they were just knocking them back, so it was really satisfying."

Dan capped a fine performance with a sweetly taken drop goal to keep Scotland's noses in front.

"I've had a few attempts from time to time and I took my time more on that one and it bounced right and went over, which was nice," he added.

"It was just one of those spur of the moment things. The game situation dictated that it was the right thing to do.

"We started the second half badly as they got a penalty immediately but we went straight back up and got a penalty and after that it was obviously very tight so any points were welcome.

"It's a nice feeling when you see so many happy faces in the crowd. Whenever you win you get a nice response and walking around after the match there were a lot of smiles in the crowd.

"I tried to blank out things when they were not so good and hoped things could get better and better. Sure enough they have and we just want to go on winning games now.

"It was amazing against England. The crowd were behind us from the start and we got on the board early which we were able to build on.

"I was so relieved at the end when we were given a penalty and Chris knocked it over. There was massive relief on the sidelines."

"It's incredibly satisfying to beat England.

"It's a remarkable effort from Scotland and hopefully things can just get better and better."

At last the Scottish Test Team are putting it all together, and with the motivation gained from the classic victories over France, and England, they can only go on to bigger, and better, more consistent things. All the Scotty players are heroes, especially the men from Glasgow.

Congratulations to the Scottish side, without forget the coaching team.
Formidable defence (Tait must be for something too).
Hadden brought confidence as wee read on newspapers...
He is a great tactician too.
I read an interview of Beattie on the scotsman, talking about the support from Scots abroad.
There is support in France not only because you won V England, because i'm married with a glaswegian who doesn't care about Rugby, but i cried in her arms when i saw this wonderfull victory.
