Andy made his international debut last summer but has been out injured for six months.
The back rower missed out on the autumn series and the Six Nations Championship after suffering a broken and dislocated ankle against Llanelli Scarlets in October.
He's been working his way back to fitness and has played a few games for Aberdeen GSFP.
Head coach, Sean Lineen, said: "We are delighted with Andy's progress. It has been a frustrating winter for him - but hopefully, he will get the chance to show what he can do. There is a tremendous amount for guys like Andy to play for, with places up for grabs in the tour to South Africa and the Canada trip."
