Hadden confirms bench

Glasgow's Sam Pinder is on the bench for Scotland
Scotland coach Frank Hadden today finalised his substitutes for tomorrow's first Test match against South Africa at the ABSA Stadium in Durban.

Following the Scots' final run-out at the stadium today, during which Allister Hogg – the No 8 who had been forced to retire from last week's match against the Barbarians with hamstring pain – completed every task alongside his team-mates, Hadden opted for the conventional four forwards and three backs on his bench, which now reads:

16 Dougie Hall (Edinburgh Gunners), 17 Craig Smith (Edinburgh Gunners), 18 Alastair Kellock (Edinburgh Gunners), 19 Kelly Brown (Border Reivers), 20 Sam Pinder (Glasgow Warriors), 21 Gordon Ross (Leeds Tykes) and 22 Simon Webster (Edinburgh Gunners).

Glasgow's Jon Petrie would have been involved had their been any doubts on Hogg's fitness.

A crowd of 35,000 is expected for the match.
