Donnie Macfadyen made an impressive return to international rugby
Despite the heavy defeat to South Africa, Glasgow's Donnie Macfadyen enjoyed playing in his first Test match since 2004.

Donnie said in The Scotsman: "I'm really excited already about next week now, after experiencing that first Test. I can't wait to have another go at them. Of course, we're very disappointed about the way we played and the result, and we've got to learn from mistakes, but there are positives and we're looking forward to next week."

Glasgow's scrum-half, Sam Pinder, said it was an "honour and a complete buzz" to get on for his first cap. He told The Times: "We can take the second half into next week. "It was a good way to end the game with Webster scoring. The game broke up a bit compared to the first half. That is a key part of Scotland's game and hopefully we can get to that a bit earlier next time."
