Stuart is heading to Earth Titans
The Rotherham Rugby website reports that Stuart Corsar is being lined up for a move to join the Titans in the coming week.

Earth Titans Head Coach Andre Bester hopes to conclude a deal to sign Glasgow Warriors prop Stuart Corsar in time to face Coventry at the Earth Arena next week.

The 22 year old made his Magners League debut in September 2005, coming on as an early replacement against Newport Gwent Dragons.

"We have been sitting with two fully fit props for a while now and Stuart has the potential to be an outstanding player," said Bester.

"He's come back after an injury but he's quick around the park and strong in the scrum. All being well he'll be involved against Coventry."

Stuart and his experimental facial hair have become very popular with the Warriors' supporters, particularly following his try against Leinster, which was scored with at least 3 (or was it 4?) opposition players attempting to stop him. It is not yet clear if the deal is a temporary or permanent one.

The report comes from Rotherham Rugby.

Good luck to Stuart on his move to Rotherham - hope he has good time and comes back to Glasgow with bags of game-time under his belt.

The article would suggest it is a permanent move, Vicki, not a loan. I would be disappointed if that is the case.

The whole thing is a farce--underused pros who train full time but dont actually play --backup matches on Monday afternoons`are glorified training sessions-- these guys dont train full time not to play and you even get guys rssted from Prem 1 matches(at least they are real) to take part in Monday afternoon training matches no wonder we dont comptete

Fully agree with Hugh.

While the Irish & Welsh sides in the Magners League play competitive "2nd XV fixtures" against each other, the Scottish fringe pro players sit around twiddling their thumbs.

With the competitive back up games. The Welsh & Irish players can slot right into their sides in the chance of injury or suspension.

These games can also be seen to force the management team into replacing a 1st XV player who's off form with a guy who's performing well and bacg on form in the back up fixtures.

Our players...Well they are called into the Magners League game to fill in an injury or suspension and find the going tough cos there's been no competitive back up games against real oppositiopn for a fortnight to three weeks.
