Defeat leaves Warriors shattered

Al Kellock's players gave their all
Glasgow skipper Alastair Kellock admitted his Warriors were shattered by their elimination from the European Challenge Cup to Saracens.

He said: "The boys are gutted. We ran the legs off ourselves.

"We didn't start particularly well and gave away a couple of soft penalties but we reacted well and could have won.

"Once we find that extra inch we will start winning these games."

Sean Lineen, the Glasgow coach, added: "I'm proud of the guys, especially the second-half performance, but we just gave ourselves too much to do.

"We're sitting in the dressing room knowing we could have beaten one of the form teams in Europe."

Not so shattered that they weren't able to go out in Viper last night when they got back however.
