Richie Vernon scored a double for Scotland

Glasgow's Richie Vernon helped Scotland to a win over Kenya in the opening game of their London Sevens campaign.

Richie weighed in with two tries in Scotland's 17-5 victory. Colin Gregor kicked a conversion and Ayr's Scott Forrest grabbed Scotland's other try.

Scotland face Samoa and Russia in the remaining pool games.
