Bernardo Stortoni is in the Argentina squad to play Scotland
Glasgow's Bernardo Stortoni has been named in Argentina's 24-man squad for the first Test against Scotland next month.

Bernie's recall caps a fine season for the full-back - he played in every one of the Warriors games and was Glasgow's Players' Player of the Year.

Glasgow coach Sean Lineen rewarded Bernie with a new two-year contract.

The Pumas meet Scotland at Rosario's Estadio Gigante de Arroyito on June 7 before the sides meet again at Velez Sarsfield's Jose Amalfitani stadium in Buenos Aires one week later.

The Pumas follow up their two-Test series against Scotland with a clash against Italy in Cordoba on June 28.

All my respect for the Argentinian selection, but it will be the "weakest" squad for years to meet Scotland.
No choice, Scotland HAS to win brilliantly!

Good luck to Bernie, but not too much...

Does anyone know if there is any coverage online or on TV? Sky have not been advertising that they are covering the Scotland tour and either have the BBC.

Give this dynamite website a try, www.livesportontv.com, although last time I checked there was no coverage of the argentina tour. In the next few weeks there's the arg tour, churchill cup and U20s WC, only the A games get any coverage. I'm fairly sure the BBC would be able to pick up the other two if the wanted.....

It's a bit expensive for the BBC to follow this tour unless there is a broadcaster in Argentina picking it up.

It is one of the BBC's jobs to cover items that would not otherwise be covered. The other home naitons tours are on sky, Scotland not being covered so it makes sense that Scotland be shown on the BBC
