Big challenge ahead for Scotland

Al Kellock is pushing for selection
Al Kellock knows Argentina will present a formidable challenge to Scotland in the upcoming two-Test series.

The Glasgow skipper said: "We know about how good they are up front but the player I know best is my Glasgow team-mate, full-back Bernie Stortoni. He was a worthy winner of the Glasgow Players' Player of the Year, very safe under the high ball and an all round good guy."

"We are aware of Argentina's potential," he added. "We have to control them if we want to go on top.

"We know they have incredible players but we hope that playing at our best we can win."

Al, who underwent knee surgery in March, was only added to the Scotland squad last week as injury and unavailability at lock came into the equation but he's set his sights on starting the Tests.

Al added: "I've worked hard to get here and I'm determined to do everything I can to push for selection for the Test matches."
