Front five lay the foundations

Moray Low and his front five colleagues laid the foundations for Glasgow's win
After tonight's win over Munster, a very pleased Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, said: “That was a really hard game of rugby."

"I can’t speak highly enough of the front five. I’ve never seen a Glasgow side scrummage like that during my time in charge.

"We refused to get soaked into the arm wrestle that Munster wanted. They tried to force a few of our guys into being sent off, but they ended up losing a few of their own instead.

"It was a real battle and we came out on top."

The only real disappointment was that in scoring the game’s only try Ruaridh Jackson suffered a worrying injury.

“Ruaridh’s damaged his shoulder and we don’t know how bad it is yet but he could be out for a while,” said Sean.

Moray has really stepped up to the plate, Dougie has been really solid for a while now and is now a really class act and Welshy... just superb really. Exactly what we need, he doesn't get pushed around and gets the job done.

Keep it up, this could be good.

Also, Andy, with Ewan injured you don't need a brain. Moray at 1. Welshy will seriously challenge for 3 also, saying a lot with a lot of options there.

Moray plays tighthead (3) and Welshy plays loosehead (1) and after one start in the Magners league it's very unfair and presumptuous to say he should play for Scotland although I'm pretty confident he will in the future. The boy has the heart of a lion and if he had been identified at Age Grade level he would be well on his way to international honours but he needs time to adjust and get game time.

Absolutely first rate performance by the front five. No backward step in spite of the dubious Munster tactics. Front up like that this season and the backs will have the sort of platform they need. Cusiter's pass also gives the backs room to move and his all round play was just what we need.

And, well done John Welsh - what a debut.

Front row were immense as they were last week. Welsh looks a find but Low has just destroyed 2 international props successively. The Wasps guy couldnt take the heat and consequently lost it. It was sheer delight to witness!

Moray should be straight into the Scotland team at least till Murray reurns.

Only downside is Jackson injury as we would have won by a huge margin had he started give Cusiter's service and the pack's dominance. Hurry back.
