Sean wants his young squad to put an injury-blighted season behind them when they take on the team who are chasing a domestic and European double of Magners League and Heineken Cup glory.
Sean told the Evening Times: “We know what is going to be required and we are determined to produce it, but we know how tough Leinster will make this for us.
“They are currently sitting in second place in the Magners League and they need to beat us to make sure they stay there and guarantee a home semi-final in the play-offs.
“Home advantage can mean so much in the big games and they will be determined to ensure they get that.
“On top of that, the defeat they suffered at our hands back in September will still rankle with them.
“No side wants to have another team complete the double over them and certainly not one as proud as Leinster.
“But you want to be playing these teams when they are at full pelt and that is what we will get on Friday night.”
Sean is also looking to DTH van der Merwe to play as big a part as he did in the Firhill fixture last September. DTH's try helped the Warriors to a a 22-19 win over Leinster on the opening day of the Magners League season.
Sean said: “DTH has nine tries in the Magners this season, which is a tremendous effort. One of his best came in that game against Leinster and I know he is hungry to repeat that.
“This is it, though, and we want to go out on a high and enter the close season full of hope. We are a developing team and we want to lay down a marker that we are going firmly in the right direction.”
