The day after Scotland take on England at Twickenham in the Six Nations, fifteen Warriors players will visit clubs across Glasgow, Central and the West. Among the star names on show will be Scotland caps Graeme Morrison and Rory Lamont; South African star Josh Strauss and Flying Fijian Niko Matawalu.
Kenny Brown, Glasgow Warriors rugby development manager, said: “A lot of what the Warriors do is about forging links with the clubs in our area.
“Super Sunday is a great opportunity for the players to get out and lend some of their expertise and help support the clubs that support us.
“It’s great to give something back to the club game to thank them for their tremendous backing of the Warriors and what we’re trying to achieve here.”
In season 2011/12, the Warriors squad undertook more than 2,600 hours of visits to clubs, schools and other community groups and this latest event is part of the Warriors commitment to developing strong links with the community and local clubs across Scotland.
The clubs taking part on Super Sunday are:
Greenock Wanderers
Birkmyre
Bishopton
McLaren RFC
Bannockburn RFC
West of Scotland FC
Strathendrick RFC
Cumbernauld RFC
GHK RFC

Eight of the ten clubs taking part will also be involved at Scotstoun Stadium during the next big RaboDirect PRO12 league clash, against Ulster, on Friday 22 February (ko 7.35pm)
