One man who has figured more than most in that run is Robert Harley, but the back row man has played down his “Mr Consistent” tag ahead of Glasgow’s PRO12 play-off semi-final clash with Munster.
Rob has made 22 starts in 28 games this season, but speaking in today's Daily Record, Rob said: “I’m not keeping a track of numbers but I am always delighted when I see my name on the teamsheet.
“I have had my time on the bench and in the stand watching but the depth of our group is such that you know you won’t be involved in every fixture.
“Being picked regularly does add to your confidence and that’s crucial when you face a team like Munster.
“They came here early in the season and got on top of us by a few points. It was our first defeat of the campaign.
“They were so physical and though we beat them over in Limerick a few weeks ago, they will have in mind how they fared at Scotstoun.
“Being at home and having our fans behind us might just be enough to take us over the line.”
