Scotland proved to be too strong for the USA in a one-sided autumn Test at Murrayfield this afternoon.

The Scots crossed for thirteen tries in an 85-0 win over a USA team that didn't stop trying but couldn't cope with Scotland's power and pace.

Dylan Richardson started the scoring after just five minutes and Duhan van der Merwe, Darcy Graham and Jamie Dobie all crossed for two tries before the interval.

Graham went onto complete his hat-trick a few minutes into the second period, and player of the match Dobie also grabbed his treble late on after moving to the wing.

Kyle Rowe, Stafford McDowall, George Horne, and Ollie Smith also scored in the second half to take Scotland up to an 85-point winning margin.

Player-of-the-match Jamie Dobie, said: "Fun is one of the words to describe that. It can be tempting to go off script, but we didn't do that and that's why we scored 80-odd points, because we stuck to the plan.

"The most pleasing thing is to keep them scoreless. It was a big focus point before the game, and even more so at half time.

"I'm loving my rugby at the moment. It's been a good start to the season, and that's the same for a lot of the boys in the squad."
