Euan is the only addition to the 34 players who were listed by coach Frank Hadden for the first training camp earlier this week ahead of Scotland's three Autumn Tests against Argentina, Samoa and New Zealand.
He has recovered – much to the delight of everyone who witnessed the harrowing incident - from the concussion he suffered after a head knock in the Celtic League game against Munster last month.
Hadden said: "I'm absolutely delighted that Euan has recovered. He has been showing a lot of potential for a long while now and it's time for him to realise that potential."
Euan said: "I'm going to take my opportunities as they come and just see what happens but whatever happens, I try my best to just take things in my stride. I'm slightly surprised to be included as I haven't had that much game time but I'm there to train and that’s exactly what I'll do."
