Naufahu's prospects at Hughenden can also only be helped by the fact that he is a known quality to Searancke. The two New Zealanders have a long-standing relationship, Searancke having coached the player at NZ under-19 and under-21 levels.
Naufahu is set to play in the centre for Glasgow when Edinburgh visit Hughenden on Boxing Day, where he will face his former Canterbury captain, Todd Blackadder, on the opposition side of the field in the colours of Edinburgh.
