Glasgow include Currie's Samoan international lock forward, Opeta Palepoi, for the Pro Rugby Cup match against the Borders at Netherdale tomorrow.

Melrose hooker, Scott Lawson, is among Glasgow’s replacements. Palepoi, who has played 30 games for Samoa, joined Currie a couple of months ago. The 26-year-old, who has been training with Glasgow for the past couple of days.

In all, Glasgow have made six changes in personnel from the team who started against Edinburgh – Moffat for Steel on the right wing, Bulloch for Henderson at centre, Howarth for Hayes at stand-off, Macfadyen for Simpson in the back row, Palepoi for Ross at lock, and Kelly for Harrison at tight head.

Macfadyen will be at open side with Andrew Wilson switching to the other flank. Five of those omitted, all bar Steel, are among the replacements for tomorrow’s game. Jason White could not be considered due to a back injury.
