Despite being omitted from the Warriors' starting line-up for the majority of the season, Bulloch has been picked at outside centre for their key Heineken Cup clash tomorrow night. And he is aiming to make his presence count by helping snuff out the danger presented by the England full-back.
Alan explained: "If Jason Robinson is in the team, as expected, then I think it is pretty obvious we will not be kicking possession away and playing directly into his hands. On top of that, it is important we defend well inside him and ensure Sale can't get the ball into his hands and allow him to run at us.
"At centre, I will be one of the first lines of defence for my team along with the wingers and a full-back, so it is essential I stop him dead, or at least slow him down. If Robinson hits the line then there is no way Glasgow can afford to give him any room.
"Certainly, I intend to get right in his face. We can't really afford to single him out or treat him any differently, but he really is an extra-special talent. He can spin out of tackles and beat two or three men at a time. We will need to be on our guard."
