Alan Bulloch has been recalled to the Scotland A team for the match with England A at Franklin’s Gardens, Northampton, on Friday 21 March (ko 7.35pm).

Both Bulloch and Rory Kerr, who is named as a substitute, have been unable to secure a regular starting place with Glasgow and will be eager to impress. Glasgow's Donnie Macfadyen was unavailable for selection due to injury.

Scotland A coach Hugh Campbell said he was particularly looking forward to seeing Jon Petrie operating at openside flanker. "This is a golden opportunity for him to get some experience at openside. Jon displays all the qualities that are required for the position and I’m looking forward to seeing him perform there."

Sky Sports Extra will be carrying live coverage of this match on Friday evening. The programme starts at 7.00pm.
