Former Glasgow and Scotland captain Andy Nicol has been inducted into the SRU Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was launched four years ago by Scottish Rugby Magazine.

The well deserved honour was announced at the SRU Rugby Awards Dinner at Murrayfield. Andy is the only Scottish captain ever to win the Heineken Cup and the only one in the professional era to claim the Calcutta Cup. Andy, who has retired from playing, will coach Currie next season.

New Glasgow coach, Sean Lineen, was named coach over the year, sharing the award with his colleague, Iain Paxton. Their exciting Boroughmuir team secured the BT Premier Division One title this season.
