Calvin Howarth has teamed up again with his old Boroughmuir mentor Sean Lineen.
Sean Lineen has enjoyed teaming up again with his former Boroughmuir protégé Calvin Howarth. Lineen coached Howarth when the stand-off burst on to the domestic scene a few seasons ago.

"It's great working with Calvin again, and he is getting his confidence and form back. He really has to step up this season."

With a number of Glasgow players going to the World Cup Lineen believes his younger players can make can impact this season and insists: "The lads who will come in are not out of their league by any means. They all have a chance to make an impact."

"Graeme Morrison has the potential to do a lot of damage, and played very well against Newcastle. He is definitely one to watch out for.

Lineen seems to be settling in nicely to the professional scene and is ready for the challenge of the new-look Celtic League.

"I am loving it here, and although it is a bit of a honeymoon period at the moment, Cardiff will be the real thing. We have done our homework, and looked at videos of their pre-season games."
