Parks kicks Glasgow into life

Dan Parks form has impressed many observers
In today's Scotland on Sunday Norman Mair writes about Glasgow's win over Montpellier on Friday and gives a special mention to the kicking - not just off the deck but from hand - of stand-off Dan Parks.

"At times the way the Australian Scot used his right foot to find the right touchline - more than once swinging the ball left to right off his starboard hoof - took one back to the legendary All Blacks' full-back Bob Scott doing much the same thing at Old Anniesland many years before Parks's generation arrived on the scene," writes Mair.

"Tactically, Parks, whom Campbell wants to see working diligently on his upper body strength and overall fitness levels, played very sensibly in a team which for the most part exuded the air of a side who knew exactly what they were about."
