Arm injury to Cammy as Scotland face whitewash

Glasgow skipper Cammy Mather went off with an arm inury at half-time in Scotland's humiliating 31-0 loss to France at Murrayfield.

It's not yet known if Cammy will be fit to face Ireland next Saturday in a match Scotland have to win to avoid suffering their first whitewash since 1985.

Glasgow's Dan Parks made an appearance in the second half and sparked some better phases of play for the Scots with some intelligent distribution but all too often basic handling skills let them down.

At least Parks put a bit of width into Scotland's play. He's not had much of a chance coming on with all three games lost.

Had to laugh at Brian Meek's column in the Herald. He's a prime example of the Scottish medias love affair with Paterson.

Whats wrong with Chris Paterson, just because he had one bad game.

Nothing against him. I'm a fan and I hope he can regain his confidence. But he's one of a group of Scottish players whose mistakes and flaws don't receive the same critical analysis as some of the lesser lights.
