Jon Petrie wants to lead Scotland to their first victory of the tour
Scotland stand-in captain Jon Petrie wants his team to kick-start their tour today when they face New South Wales Country in Wollongong.

The Glasgow No.8 knows Scotland must avoid the early mistakes they made against Queensland at the weekend.

"A lot of the guys were taken by surprise . It was half-time before we realised we were capable of doing something with the game but by then it was far too late.

"I hope this time we will go full pelt from minute one.

"The big aim on this trip is to win the Tests against Samoa and the Wallabies but this is also a massive challenge because it could set the tone for the rest of the trip.

"A good win would give everyone such a lift and get the tour back on track."
