Sean Lamont had an impressive Test debut against Samoa
After an impressive Test debut against Samoa, Glasgow's Sean Lamont could soon be facing up to Australia's Lote Tuqiri, the man generally regarded as the world's best winger.

In today's Sunday Herald, Jonathan Coates talks to Sean about the prospect of continuing his rapid progress with an appearance in next weeks' first Test against Australia.

"Words can't describe what it would be like if I was selected to play Australia," said Sean. "They have got fast guys, big guys – you saw what Sailor did against us for Queensland, just brushing guys away.

"It's the same with Tuqiri. I have never played against him and I don't actually remember seeing a lot of his games, but he is the No.1 winger in the world at the moment and people are saying he is going to live up to that. He is fast, and a bit more elusive than Sailor, who is more of a direct runner."
