Moffat wants to do his talking on the pitch

Moffat">Stuart Moffat could line up against his former teammates
Moffat">Stuart Moffat is expected to line up for Borders against his old Glasgow teammates at the Greenyards tomorrow (ko 3.00pm), and the full back is relieved he'll be tackling his former club on the pitch rather than the court room.

Stuart was offered a contract by Glasgow over the summer, but then found he was one of several players who then found the deal was not ratified by the SRU.

"The way they sacked me left me with no option but to get lawyers involved, " said Stuart.

"They backed me into a corner by changing their minds about renewing my contract. The late timing of their decision meant I had little chance to find a team.

"I was actually on the brink of packing in the professional game but then I was called out to Australia as cover for the Scotland tour and the Borders came up with a package.

"The legal issue is history as far as I am concerned as I am enjoying my rugby again, and, yes of course, I want to be on the winning side against them."

Definately not a turncoat. Scored a great try for the Borders against Llanelli last week, didn't know he had so much speed!
