A couple of familiar faces will be lining up for Borders when they take on Glasgow at the Greenyards tomorrow (ko 3.00pm).

Jon Steel and Moffat">Stuart Moffat were released by Glasgow over the summer and they now have a chance to prove a point when they line on the wings for Borders.

Jon is looking forward to the prospect of playing against the club where, after a good three years, his career stalled last season. He said: "It was frustrating for me last season. But I've put that behind me and now I'm hungry again. The objective for me this season is to get back into the Scotland squad and continue where I left off in 2002.

"The move to The Borders has been good for me. I had four years at Glasgow and just because one season did not go right I'm not writing off my career" said Jon.

Jon lines up on the right wing with Moffat">Stuart Moffat on the left. Another former Glasgow player, Colin Stewart, is named among the replacements.
